Mum's table

Here is a table that my dear old mother has made.
It is a bit hard to see, but the handle on the vase is an actual handle from a tea cup.

Suggestions

O.K, so I am putting it out there to other bloggers etc, if they have any suggestions/tips of how to make a good blog e.g what do people want, how to make it interesting. Would appreciate any comment.
Thanks

Driftwood mobile

I made this mobile from driftwood and glass beads. So simple to do.
Just drill holes in the centre of the driftwood, and then thread the beads and driftwood with fishing line.

Not so beachy!

Here are some mosaic projects I have done.
Not exactly beachy, as my home is a cottage style, whereas the shack has the beach theme.

The plantpot was my first ever mosaic project. There is just something so calming about smashing up tiles.

This round table has a rose quartz rose design centre piece. My rumpus is a lime/orange/pink theme.

The birdhouse was my first outdoor project, unfortunately I didn't use the right adhesive and the tiles are falling off.

These rounds mosaic balls were made from polystyrene, I just glued the tiles straight on.

Blog undergoing construction

Well, I am still playing around with the layout. I am very happy with it. I just need to get some more photos uploaded. All of my beach crafts I have made are at the shack, so when I go there next must remember to take camera.

First photo upload

Some will call it a lobster, some will call it a crayfish. Either way they are delicious.

Hi, I am new to this (1st time blogger and all that). I have only just come to grips with having a mobile phone. But I will probably have to merge with the rest of society and get a grip on reality. It is inevitable.
We are a society that loves technology, and I am realising now that it is the way of the future.

So here goes, I have started this blog because it seems like a cool thing to do. Something different for me.
I guess I am going to base it around my love for the sea. I love seaglass, fish, driftwood and shells.
I am lucky enough to have a holiday house (or shack if you are an Aussie). I love to collect things on the beach, and try to create something crafty.
It would be great to share things with you all, and you all with me. Anything like your beach creations, special thoughts, or anything at all.

So I will see how this blogging goes, who knows.

Michelle
